I find a bubble level a more practical accessory. ![]() You could get the optional 15mm viewfinder, but honestly once you realize that you pretty much get EVERYTHING in the frame you don’t need the viewfinder anymore. The 15mm Heliar II is a manual focus lens. I’ve never tried one but for a similar price I have 2 cold shoes and less bulk. I’ve used the 15mm on a m4/3 OMD EM-5 with great results as the purple corners are cropped on the OMD. The Heliar II is not optimized for color it will produce purple fringing. Leica M3, Voigtlander 15mm heliar II, Match Technical CSEP-4S back, Foam on eye piece to protect glasses.īuild Quality: 15mm Voigtlander with Viewfinderīuild quality of the Voigtlander is superb, it feels solid and focuses smooth, this is the version II for M mount. These two products go well together and a write up on the Thumbs Up grip alone wouldn’t make sense. This is going to be a double review of the Voigtlander 15mm Heliar II and the Match Technical CSEP-4S.
